Tunbridge Wells

Since moving to my new studio in Tunbridge Wells I have been out painting a bit in the streets. Juliet’s is a very successful teashop, just on the other side of the road from my studio. When I was painting it, the owner of the Italian restaurant next door asked me why I wasn’t painting his place. I thought about it and decided it might make a good picture. He offered me a coffee for my pains but he still hasn’t bought the painting.
Juliet’s I, 30 x 20 cm , oil on board, 2014 Juliet’s II, oil on board, 30 x 20cm, 2014 Soprano, 30 x 20cm, oil on board, 2014
This is a view of the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells, home to art galleries, smart shops and elegant customers.
