Yvoire

The French side of my family comes from this village in Haute-Savoie. Yvoire, on the south (and French) side of Lake Geneva, is an almost ridiculously picturesque place and attracts millions of tourists. I was there for a few weeks this summer and although I did meet a lot of trippers while out painting, they were all friendly and a couple of them even gave me a commission.
