Bridget’s Portrait

Bridget 3

watch Bridget, oil on canvas, 2015

Bridget works for a US investment bank in London. She came to the UK as a student from Nigeria almost ten years ago. This portrait of her took me about 13 hours. I had a limited palette of Ivory Black, Yellow Ochre, Vermillion, Cremnitz White and Cadmium Yellow (the last for the stole only).

how to write an essay on police brutality and race Absolutely gorgeous, Louis! A beautiful portrait of a stunningly beautiful and elegant woman. I am so inspired by your thoughts and paintings. They always help me get back to my own canvas with a less burdened, newly inspired soul. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!
